We began our 2023 visit to the Uk visiting the Bovington Tank Museum, which I highly recommend visiting, it was my first time there and although I'm a lot more interested in aircraft than I am in Tanks, I was quite surprised at how excited I was to see the exhibits and how enthusiastic it made me want to build an AFV kit.
The museum was very clean and the exhibits were well done and very interesting, I particularly enjoyed the WW2 tank hall! And as an added bonus the Tank museum shop has lots of kits, most of them were in 1/35 and 1/48 scale but there were a few 1/72 kits too.
The only downside of our visit was the fact that the Musuems' vehichle conservation center is only open for 1h in the afternoon, and as we weren't aware of that, we sadly didn't have the chance to visit it, hopefully next time we will!
I took a few pictures whilst we were there, and i hope they might inspire your future builds!
Happy modelling,
Anna
Ps: I've indicated the the name of the tanks I could identify but most of them aren't named as I'm really no expert on tanks.
