ARMA HOBBY F4F-4 WILDCAT 

This model was built in the markings of John.L ."Smitty" Smith's aircraft, White 2 based in Guadalcanal in 1943.

This is the model I brought with me to enter the competition at Scale Model World 2022, I entered it in the junior aircraft category, since I was 15 years old, and won silver. I was very happy!

I painted the model with Ak real colors acrylics and weathered it with Tamiya enamel washes and weathering powders.

The Decals used are the kits' but they were modified to build this particular aircraft.

Eduard Photo-Etched was used for the cockpit; and brass tube was used for the gun barrels.

The figure is from the CMK set: US Navy F6F Hellcat Pilot and Mechanic.
