KONIGSTIGER - FLYHAWK

After nearly a year of having no new builds, due to us moving back to the UK and until a few months ago, having no where to build models, we are finally making and finishing models again! 

This Tiger II from Flyhawk is a very detailed kit and the fit is great, if unlike me you didn't add aftermarket zimmerit from JK Resin, the tracks were also a bit fiddly as there were many individual track links, but it is overall a very enjoyable kit.

It took me about 4 months to build it, but only because I started my first year at University studying Aerospace engineering and had limited time to work on it.

As usual the model was painted using AK real colors and Tamiya acrylics, and weathered with Tamiya enamel washes, Ak enamel washes and Mig weathering powders.

No other aftermarket items were used apart from the zimmerit set from Jk resin. 

The zimmerit affects the fitting of the tank's  armoured skirting which is why they are not perfectly aligned despite my best efforts.
